Q: How do I place an ad?
|
A: 1: First go to the home page and click on the city that you would like to place your ad in. 2: Click on "Post Your Ad!-It's FREE!" You will be directed to the category list page. Choose the appropriate category and fill in the form. |

Q: Why do I need a Password?
|
A: Your email and password become your new "login". When you want to edit your ad, remove it when it sells, add additional pictures or upgrade to a highlighted ad, you will need it to access your listings using the email address you provided and the password you picked. |

Q: How often can I edit my ad?
|
A: You may edit your ad as often as you wish. You can change the item you are selling daily if you wish. However, once you place an ad the location and category cannot be changed, so choose wisely. |

Q: How can I see all my ads to edit them?
|
A: 1: Go to any city page and click on "Login". You will be asked to enter your email address and your password. You will be taken to the "Post Your Ad" Page. 2: Click on "My Ads". You will then see your control panel. Your name, email address and the ad headings will all appear here, so you can easily tell which ads are which. You will see an
NOTE: You can only have your ad highlighted when you first fill out the form. If you wish to highlight an existing ad "contact us" with the ad heading and the date the ad was placed. We will send you a PayPal™ invoice. Once the invoice is paid we will highlight your ad. To remove an item that is sold or you no longer wish to sell, select the ad by clicking in the box on the left of the ad (you can only edit one ad at a time) and click on "Change Status" at the bottom of the control panel. To change your price, heading or description or to add and change a picture, click on the box at the right to choose the ad you want to change and click on "Edit" at the bottom of your control panel. This will open up your ad and you may now do as you please to your ad. |
| Q: How do you determine which cities are listed? | A: For the most part cities are chosen by population. Over 100,000 people the city is listed automatically. We then use geographic locations to best cover the Province or State. |

Q: Why do you offer free ads?
|
A: Like most people, our staff loves a bargain. This site gives you an outlet to find those bargains, as well as sell those things that you no longer need. Why throw out what you can sell? It is also very costly to place classified ads in your local newspaper. By comparison web hosting is relatively inexpensive, although time consuming. |

Q: Do you make money from these classified ads?

A: On standard non-highlighted classified ads there is no money earned before, during, or after you post your ad. The only earnings are from advertiser spaces, or from highlighted ads. We maintain that the majority of this service should be FREE. |
| Q: Do you give out my personal information that I submit with my posting? | A: No. Your privacy is paramount. |
| Q: Is my credit card information safe during check-out? | A: Yes. The reason we have decided to use the Pay Pal™ system is because of their exceptional security measures. |
| Q: Do I call you if I want to buy something in an ad? | A: No. The e-mail and phone number (if provided) in the details of each ad, are those of the seller and not of Free4uclassifieds.com. All transactions are between you and the seller. |

Q: Do you guarantee that all the items posted are legitimate?

A: No. The standard rules of buyer beware apply here as well. Check out the item yourself before you purchase it. Be wary of promises to send checks after items are received. We will do our best to weed out the bad apples but take no responsibility for the ones that get through. Let common sense prevail. |
